I got “best laugh” as a senior superlative in high school because my belly laugh is loud enough to be heard down the hall. If you’re ever lucky enough to hear my unhinged cackle, we’re probably going to be best friends.

I grew up 90% of my life in the city, but that other 10% was getting down in the Nebraska dirt ranch life and I desperately want a small farm of my own someday.

I’m a Wisconsin native and die-hard cheesehead – both in football & in my diet. My husband is not and does not approve of the plethora of Packers gear my daughter already has… but I’m not even a little sorry about it.

I became pregnant the same month I started this clinic, and it’s been the most exciting, joyful phase of my life so far –  and it completely reshaped how I support families in medicine.

I used to joke as a kid that “God probably put the cure for cancer out there in a plant somewhere”… and now herbal medicine is one of my favorite treatment options because God did in fact put some crazy healing plants out there.

I have broken and sprained both ankles twice, tore my PCL, tore my UCL (aka “Tommy John”), and fractured vertebrae in my spine – but never had surgery to repair any of them.
